I was in a Bursa to check out the Green Mosque. The day before I had come up from Kusadasi buy bus. Turkey has a great bus service the tickets are cheap, busses are clean and they stop frequently for food and toilet breaks. But you do have to pay to use the bathrooms. At one of the stops I use sign language to ask the bathroom attendant how much to pee? (yeah visualize that) He just points up to the sign. $250,000 just to pee! No worries Because I am a Millionaire. I had just changed in $100 in rm (real money) and got 66,800,000 Turkish Lira. Any way this story is about the Quest for Beer not bus stop bathrooms.
Bars can be hard to find in Muslim countries even so-called moderate ones like Turkey. Is being a millionaire in Turkey all it’s cracked up to be? You will have to wait till my book comes out!
